THE LATEST
First things first, BIG THANKS for all your support, it has been really important to me and to Koalita. Thank you so much!
Now, the latest: Koalita Craft and Koalita Party are under restructuring. Today I have good news and bad news. The bad news, or less good, is that I'm not blogging anymore, at least here, for now and with this format. But Koalita Party Etsy shop as well as the facebook page will receive extra attention.
A newsletter is being created. Probably many of you have already received a copy which resulted as a test that needed some refining. This newsletter will be released monthly via email and promoted also on facebook and twitter. Material to be included: news about new products, discounts, sales, the latest about events organization (hints and tips ) and lots of inspiration. The first publication will come out in late May .
I'm working on many more updates on Koalita's world. I will disclose on Koalita facebook page , twitter and of course on the new newsletter out shortly.
So to keep in touch, please DO keep in touch with us we like to have you around, follow Koalita tweets , Like the facebook page and subscribe the newsletter . I'm also on Pinterest and Instagram feel free to join.
I'm going on holidays now but I will be back on track after the 6th May. Stay tunned!

MY STYLE - board 002
Yes, the move was made. Now I'm working just next to my bed... dangerous, very dangerous!
My bedroom needs a painting, hopefully will be this years in June or so. But, apart from that and the forever-temporary-scary-wardrobe I feel pretty good in this new little corner. Although it needs a few details to make it more organized and clean. I decided to make a "My style board" to make things clear in my mind. The result is just here and now I have a shopping list. Great! I really needed a reason to go shopping/spend money. I would love to share with you the final picture but I'm just not sure if I'll be sharing before or after the paintings... let's see if the evolution deserves it. Here's the board:
JieldĂ© black lamp / Orla Kiely drinkware / Small Terrarium Holder Cube style glass container desk accessory / Modern book shelve / Small item storage, £5.98 / White table, £12 / White office chair, £12 / IKEA Snika, £11 / Blank Chalkboard Smaller Size by dirtsastudio on Etsy / IKEA KVISSLE Desk organizer, white, £3.58

LET'S PANCAKE DAY ALL DAY {continued}
At same time that, in some parts of the Earth, people are celebrating Carnival having fun on the street, wearing masks, dancing and making silly things. There are other parts where what people want is having pancakes all day! Why?
Pancake Day also known as Shrove Tuesday is the day preceding Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Shrove Tuesday, a movable feast, is determined by Easter. It's the day for making a self-examination, considering what wrongs they need to repent. It's also the last day before the penitential season of Lent. The term Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday. Eating pancakes, as tradition in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, devolved from using eggs and butter on the pancake recipe, ingredients that were forbidden during the fast. There are other traditions on this Tuesday-before-the-day-of-the-Lent but, as I can't play Carnival in my home country, Portugal, I will have my Pancake Day in the UK.
