DIY IKEA

I often fall in love with expensive furniture. Let's say, I have an expensive taste most of the times. However, my home doesn't have more than IKEA cheapest pieces. And to be honest, I guess it's better this way. You see... I like to change things every time I get bored. It would be craziness to throw away a £1000 piece of top design now and then. So I keep inventing and re-inventing my style with IKEA and a few details that can be a bit over budget.
Because of that I'm always on the Ebay or looking across the IKEA catalog or even searching on Pinterest for what to do with unwanted IKEAs to get them more interesting or so.
That was how I came across with these awesome IKEA hacks that I'm sharing with you today.

DECOR & DIY: Our new little nursery

As you may already know, I had to refurbished my home office in order to make some room to fit a little nursery. I didn't want to spend much money, as I'm thinking of looking for a new home in less than a year so I can have enough room for everything. Turned out I have just painted a small space to limit visually the nursery area. I have put Laura's cot in and bought this little chest drawers from IKEA for just £20 and in a few hours here's the result!

There's still a few details missing. I'm still unsure about which knobs I will use on the drawers. If I paint the ones that came with the dresser or if I buy new ones. I'm also thinking of making some wall art to hang above the cot. Let's see what I'll come up to. I will keep you posted :)
